Who else here has tried this, and did you like it?

Everclear is a brand of neutral grain spirit that is available at concentrations of 75.5% alcohol (151 proof) and 95% alcohol (190 proof),in contrast to hard liquors such as rum and vodka, which typically contain 40%–60% alcohol (80–120 proof).
Since 95.6% ethanol and 4.4% water form an azeotrope (meaning that simple distillation cannot remove any of the remaining water), 191-proof spirits are the maximum proof that is available from the distilled beverage industry.

Because of its high alcohol content, Everclear is illegal, unavailable, or hard to find in many areas.
It is illegal to sell the 190-proof variety in some states of the United States, viz.: California, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota,Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington. In some of these states, the 151-proof variety may be sold.
In Canada, it is sold in Alberta but not in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and most other provinces.

I had it here in Arizona when I was in the Air Force. It's ok... We put it in a watermelon That was one potent watermelon!

when i wasin college, after we had finished all of our classes (me and my roomates) we were graudating so we made a boat load of jello shots with everclear... too potent...the jello wouldnt congel. so we just jrank the favored everclear...toasted off our @$$...crazy nite...

Because its practically lethal if you drink it in the same quantities as other shots. And because its such pure alcohol its quite easy to drink a lot of it and end up with alcohol poisoning.

THat would be my guess as to why its banned.



Although to be honest, its nasty shit anyway and the only people that drink it are either crazies, immature little kids trying to prove they can drink like more of a man than their friends, or immature adults who never grew out of trying to prove they can drink like more of a man than their friends.


I'll stick to cider and Jagermeister thanks. GOOD cider.

Mmmmmm... Flavored jello Everclear!

Jello shots... those are sneaking little buggers! They look so harmless, yet they fog one's brain ever so nicely~bam~ when you least expect it!

yeah and we were already in a celbrating mood!! so then we went to a strip club my friend's friend owned...end up getting kicked out cuz we were taking money from the dances...the guys were giving us money to dance and we didnt even take off our clothes... so then we went to a better one and had to use some tourist guys to get in (women werent allowed by themselves)

we played a game of russian roulette with everclear, vodka, rum, and water at a party a few years ago. granted, people got WAY more sh*tfaced then they should have, cops were called, and they took the bottle of everclear and kicked us all out of the house. so since we weren't allowed to drive those of us still conscious (i didnt' play the game thankfully) went to a diner for a few hours.

At least not often, (I got real drunk when my daughter told me she was moving away to Ohio forever... the ducks loved me that night!)! That was the only time "in a blue moon" for me!

I'm more of a believer in the moderate use of those substances!
