Okay...while I wait.....
Hated the show when I first saw it......all of a sudden, I started watching, and...because of the writing, I love it!! Hard to pick a favorite episode, but I like the censorship one, the 'Peterded one' and......of course......Viewer mail!!
Megs' only power is growing her fingernails quickly!!
There are so many tiny parts that crack me up, it's almost difficult to talk about the show in depth...

I just started watching Family Guy last year. I didn't really pay attention to it when it first aired but now I love it. Stewie and Brian are the funniest characters on the show. Now I have two questions.

1. Why does everyone hate Meg, especially in season 4?
2. Didn't Meg have a different voive actor in season 1?

And I asked a question in the 20 questions thread.

i didn't like family guy when i first watched it but for some reason i watched it more and more, usually when i couldn't find anything else on and ended up quite liking it, ive not watched in ages though as its hardly shown anymore, i love stewie he's so evil but funny

That's what a lot of people say!! I never watched the first run....the animation style stopped me. But after watching it and hearing the dialogue, I became a big fan!!

Yes it is. It's on every forum and the way you know if there are new posts or not. How else are you going to know unless you ask for a thousand emails letting you know.

We just went from talking about Family Guy to talking about icons that let you know that posts are new. Of course most of the time I click on the "mark all threads read" button so I won't have to read all of them.

Now back to Family Guy. Meg did have a different voice actor in season 1. Her name is Lacey Chabert. I wonder why she isn't credited for voicing Meg. And if anyone has Family Guy DVD's which volume do you like best because I was thinking of getting one.

Seasons 1 and 2 are in one set, so there are more shows to watch....then you're still in a row for the others when ya get the loot!! Also, the Stewie movie is a good value and great fun to watch!!
I think it's included on later season sets though....check first.

Family Guy is good but not as good as it used to be. I really liked the episodes before the hiatus better then the ones now. But of course the futurama episodes will still be awesome

Stewie changed a lot. First he's evil and wants to kill Lois. And now he's wearing dresses. He even told Brian he loves him. I'm starting to think that Stewie is turning into a whole different character now.

And I love that old man but he creeps me out sometimes. "You want some popsicles? I got a whole freezer full of popsicles."

I think the show's great, always has been. In fact, I think it goes farther now than before it was cancelled and resurrected.

And about Stewie, really, he had those tendencies before. It's just played up more now.

Why was Family Guy cancelled in the first place? It would of probably had way more than 5 seasons if it never got cancelled. But as least they brought it back.

And does anyone know where I can watch the episode "Road to Rupert" online? I missed it the day it came on FOX.

The Monopoly game is kind of a novelty item, I bought it at Spencer's (I don't know if you have one of those in your area, but I've seen it at bookstores too). All the street names and things are based on Family Guy, and the tokens are characters from the show. It's pretty fun!
