If you like that style of blues/rock/crunchy guitar check out a band called "The Black Keys".....2 guys only, kinda like Stripes, but they also rock!! Good old blues and super crunchy guitar!!
I know lots about music if anyone wants new bands to check out....Gort has advice for all!!!

Don't know about the White Stripes, never heard any of their stuff, but I like Jack's new project, The Raconteurs. Pretty fun.

guitar is pretty easy I only start playing guitar 6 months ago. The songs I know by the White Stripes I can play. there may be some hard songs That I'm just don't know. Seven-Nation Army,Hardest Button,Blue Orchid is easy to play.

I can play 3 also.......H flat, Q and Z minor....no, really!! I have an electric guitar I got as a gift, but never learned to play it......looks cool on the stand though!!
I'm more of a piano player.....

I've heard it's really hard to learrn on electric, and from personal experience, it's TRUE!!!

It looks good......all purple and everything, though....so I guess no trade!!!

Ah, the Stripes are amazing. I've been a fanatic for about six years and they'll always be one of my all time favorites. I was going to see them in concert back in '03, but Jack broke his finger and they had to cancel. I wore all black for a week.

White Stripes have wonderful talent. I took all album on a whim, after all, why not, it seemed rather cheap. The only song I heard from them (he loved a girl) I was expecting a pretty average, but the same general survey Punk album.

I remember in the early 00s, and this band were on BBC News because of the old school way they recorded their debut album. It inspired me, back then, to look for this studio I had heard about at the time who recorded in that old school way of tape and layering, just like the White Stripes. Only thing was, i was still at school and couldn't afford the rates then.
Alas though, that studio I knew has since closed.
