Season 5?

Has it been released on DVD yet? I can't seem to find it.

Based on where you live...there may be no season 5....in the US, the seasons on dvd are 1, 2, 3 and 4.....in Europe The dvds were released as 5 seasons...I'll leave it to my English pals to say if I'm correct or not........Smokey? Gaz?

Yeah, there is only 4 seasons you can buy on DVD over here in the UK

Yeah, the series is over 4 seasons of DVD which includes all of the episodes. The seasons are all a bit different on DVD to make it 4 instead of 5.

When the show was originally produced, four different seasons were made, with 72 episodes altogether. When they were aired on Fox, these 72 episodes were split up into FIVE seasons of shorter length. The four seasons available on DVD are the original seasons, they contain the exact same 72 episodes, they're just on four sets rather than five.

Matt Groening has stated that the new 'episodes' will actually just be modified versions of the four movies that they are making; they won't really be "new" episodes, and I doubt the episode versions will be released on DVD, since the actual movies with the same content will have already been released.

Over here in the UK you get just four season boxsets

The only reason people say theres 5 seasons is beacause FOX (the company in charge of futurama) Never gave it a regular time slot on tv....So they had to air it over 5 seasons...Even tho there are only four real seasons.
