Well I've decided to start a riddle contest. Someone set a riddle. The first person to get it right gets to set the next riddle (once whoever set that riddle tells them that they're right)
So first riddle:
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

omg that joke was bad lolol
Here..
2 blokes at a bar, one said to the other " if i slept with ur mrs would that mean we were related" so his friend replied " no that would make us even"
Have a nice day :)
HAR!
This IS the riddle section, though....we gotta watch the jokes here...they usually go in the mature section...
I'm a bad 'joke' guy anyway....all the ones I know must be TOLD...not read!
I'm better known for my wit off the cuff than for memorizing 'jokes'...

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.
My head hurts.
Ow.

Pazuzu
25-01-2007, 04:24 PM
i know. once you know the answer you will kick yourself!
Then I won't answer...I don't want to hurt me.
Pazuzu
25-01-2007, 04:36 PM
No, if you get it, you won't, but if you don't and then you see it you will if that makes any sense at all!!!
Is it similar to my other fave.....? I'll try to type it, but I think it works best when told in person...here we go....
Okay....lets say you're a bus driver. You take your bus to the first stop and 3 people get on...then you drive your bus to the second stop and 1 person gets off and 5 more get on....you take the bus to the third stop and no one gets on but 3 people get off....then you take your bus to the fourth stop and 2 people get on....
How old is the bus driver?
( by the way...I know the answer to Pazs' one )
Pazuzu
25-01-2007, 04:45 PM
About twice half her age!!! (I know that isn't the answer but i cbb)
What's the answer then? (to my one)
Language....................OW!!................I kicked myself!
Pazuzu
25-01-2007, 04:53 PM
Well done. You didn't have to actually kick yourself you know, only metaphorically! Ooh, that can be my word of the day tomorrow!!!

The bus driver is 16, because I am the bus driver and that's how old I am

Not really a riddle but more of a probability question. You are on a gameshow with 3 doors. One of the doors has a brand new car and the other two have donkeys. You are instructed to pick one door, so lets say you pick number one. So the host opens up door number 3 which reveals a donkey. Now you have the option to switch doors. Which door has the better odds of having a car? Door 1 or Door 2?
Remember:
Door 1 = The door you picked.
Door 2 = The one you didn't pick and the host didn't open.
Door 3 = The one you didn't pick and the host did open.
emily0410
05-02-2010, 02:05 AM
I have no idea, door 2?
Tinkleheimer
05-02-2010, 04:34 AM
Yeah. It's kind of difficult to explain. First time you pick, you have a 1 in 3 chance. Then the host opens up a door with a donkey in it, so you have 2 doors left, 1 with a car and 1 with a donkey. You now have a 1 in 2 chance, with each door. Now if door 1 was a donkey, that means door 2 has to be the car, because the host won't open up the door with the car and instead open up the one with the donkey. It's really confusing, and I forget exactly how it's supposed to be written, but you should switch.

05-02-2010, 10:05 AM
The letter M.
Hmmm I need to think of another. Another easy one. I bet you will get it. :) *rollseyes* A farmer has 15 sheep and 9 dies, how many sheep does he have left?
Yoshirama
05-02-2010, 10:19 AM
i don't know there must be some trick to it because otherwise the answer is to obvious i will guess 15 since thei would be still bodies of the other sheep.
Tinkleheimer
05-02-2010, 12:17 PM
Nah the normal "trick question" says "All But 9 Died" but I was trying to be clever and assume everyone has seen it before and trying to trick ya. lol I would be like 6 I think lol. :) </fail>
Yoshirama
05-02-2010, 12:49 PM
Oh ok, i will give one
I am taken from a mine, and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost everybody.

A fifteen foot rope is tied to a horse. The horse is 25 feet from a stack of hay. How can the horse get to the hay?
Tinkleheimer
08-02-2010, 06:12 AM
The rope is tied to the home not the horse.
Yoshirama
08-02-2010, 08:07 AM
i don't get it.
Tinkleheimer
08-02-2010, 10:26 AM
Holy crap. I read it wrong the first time lmao. I thought the first horse actually said home. Well the REAL answer is the other end of the rope is not tied to anything. At least that's what I think. Being completely tired and answering riddles doesn't go hand in hand.
Yoshirama
08-02-2010, 10:32 AM
yeah that makes sense i think your right.
