300 was fantastic. another great frank miller comic book come to life. i'm looking forward to sin city 2, though the only books i've read in the series have already been covered so i'll have to read some more before the film comes out.

sin city is a collection of short films based on different stories by frank millers' comics. some of the characters go between stories but pretty much each of the sections is it's own thing. it's really neat.

Iv'e seen 300 online but the quality was a bit shite...but sin city is an awesome film, have any of you read the graphic novels?...I think i'm gonna have to rent 300 soon....Bet it will look shit hot on a good TV.

I've read some of the sin city graphic novels, pretty much all the ones that were shown in the movie except for dwights story i had read back when they were released.

i love comics.

No i haven't actually, i've seen some of the pages from the extras on the 300 dvd and the movie looks just like frank millers style.

really? i've heard there's difference between the film and actual history, not so much the comic and film. i'll have to read it, i dig his style enough

theres a lot off differences between the film and history but the films not based on history (the 1966 version the 300 spartans is) but its based on the graphic novel whic wasnt 100% based on history
