Michelle's Lost Head

The sun rose in the morning sky shining through Fry's window. He could hear outside the birds tweeting. It should be a good start to the day, But to Fry it would probably be the worst. For Fry felt guilty and embarrassed, for he had done.

He lay on his side with his eyes wide open and bags under them. Last night he had screwed everything up. He decided enough was enough and got himself up.

In the next room lay Bender with a bottle of beer in one hand, and two ' Cheap Floozies ' at either side of him cuddled up to him. " Bender " Fry said nudging him. " Aw, What is it meatbag? ". " It's time for us to get too work ". " Since when you cared of Being early ". As Bender rose from the sofa the two Fembots groaned and cuddled up to one another.

" Look, Things went kinda' bad with me and Leela yesterday " Fry replied pouring himself some coffee. " Aw, great what happened now ". " Well, apart from forgetting my wallet at Elzars and having too wash some dishes to pay it off, then puking all over her when I had to much too drink, and then she slapped me in the face in the street, and then she dumped me ".

" Ha ha, I knew it wouldn't last, How longs that been 3 months ? ". Fry just gave a silent nod then continued to drink his coffee.

" Well, at least it didn't get any worse " Bender then drank some beer, and burped out a flame which made the fembots wake up screaming, and run out the flat. " Hey, Wait don't go " Bender shouted chasing after them. " Well, I'm away to get ready " Fry called to Bender who was out in the corridor cursing and swearing.

Outside the sun was beating down upon Fry. As he passed the club he was at the night before a few men outside threw some comments at him. " Hey that's the guy who puked all over his girlfriend ". Embarrassed Fry put his hand up to his face to shield it, from the sun and from the onlookers. While approaching Planet Express, he caught a glimpse of Leela crossing the street.

Right away he hid before watching her walk into Planet Express. Heading in Fry entered the conference room where, Leela stood packing up a box. Scratching his head Fry headed up, slowly to her. " Hey Leela " he said standing next to her. But Leela just stood there ignoring him. " Look, about Last night I'm really sorry, let me make it up to you, why don't we? ".

" Look Fry " Leela shouted making him jump. " I am never going to be going on another, date with you ever again, you humiliated me in front on everyone last night, we're over I told you that, now we have to deliver this box to a museum in mars, so just get to the ship deliver ".

" Yes captain " He replied quietly. Leela then gave him a nasty look before storming off down the stairs to the ship. " Well, you sure have blown it ". Turning round Fry frowned as Bender stood their laughing. " Bender, I wish you'd mind your own business ". " Fry, Bender get your asses down here before I kick them down here " Fry and Bender then ran hurriedly down the stairs.

On the ship, Bender sat placing out some cards, while Fry lay in his hammock, with tears rolling down his cheek. " Hey, meatbag you gonna' stop whining in self pity and play this game ". Wiping tears from his eyes Fry, just gave a nod and turned over in his hamock.

Rolling his eyes Bender sighed, " God, I hate havng to do this ". " Look, Meatbag get over it she dumped you, it didn't work out, go and get another one ". " Bender, how can you say that " Fry replied turing over in his hammock. " It's not as easy as that, your a robot you don't understand ".

" Sure, I do Once I break up with someone I get another one , you should do that ". " No, you don't understand ". " Fry, Bender this is Leela, we're landing in 5 minutes so get ready ". Looking away from the speaker Fry then got himself up and strechted, " Well, come on you heard her ".

Upon the Red Breezy Planet, Winds blew fiercely through the red deserts, all about the ship was deserts and a small building. Gulping Fry turned away from the window. " Leela, It's Kinda' windy outside maybe we should wait till the storm dies down ". Turning round Leela stood and took a long glare at Fry. Gulping Fry smiled and grabbed the package and made his way out the ship.

Outside Leela screamed in pain as sand ran into her eye. Tripping over a rock, Fry grabbed her guiding her into the Building. Reading a sign as they entered, " Museum of Lost Heads ". "Geez, what a dump, this place looks as it hasn't been dusted in 1000 years " Bender comments grabbing the box from Fry's hand and dumping it upon the visitor desk.

"Well, looks as if no ones here let's go ". "Good, Evening!". Turning round Bender jumped, as a old hunchbacked man stood clasping his hands. " May, I help you " He smiled sending shiver up their spines. The mad was old, He was bald, had a long white beard, and wore nothing but black clothes. Looking at each other the crew, stepped back a bit until one of them spoke.

" Uh, Hi We're from Planet Express delivering this box " Leela said to the man passing it to him. " Ah, yes I've been waiting on this for 6 months, Thank you and while your here feel free to look around, It's a museum of Lost heads, it has actors who are forgotten from the 21st century ".

" 21st century " Fry blurted out. " Cooool, Leela can we look around? ". NO! ". " Oh , Please ". " No ". " Why? ". "Because, I'm tired and fed up, and if you've seen the weather there's a storm coming, so we need to get home before it gets worse ". " Oh, Come on " Fry Begged.

" NO ". "Pleeease? " Fry begged again getting down on his knees. Rolling her eye, Leela sighed and folded her arms, "Fine". " Yus!". "But, 20 minutes then we're leaving". " Okay, Okay no problem" Right away Fry and Bender ran away like kids into 2 separate rooms Leaving Leela to investigate herself.

Cold and Fed up Leela made her way along the corridor, before stopping outside a room reading, "Room of Forgotten Actors". Running her arms Leela made her way in, brushing away webs which hung down before her. In the room was at least 100 jars containing the heads of Actors. 2 Long rows leading down all the way to the bottom of the room.

Walking up slowly, Leela looked at the Heads. Most of them were covered in dust, and Most of the heads were either sleeping or floating in the liquid rotting away. The room smelt of old books and dust, with a bit of a dead smell mixed in. While Examining a Head, a voice was heard from be hing her, " Well, Well what do we have here ".

Screaming, and bumping into one of the jars, Leela sent a nudge which made all the jars move, waking some of the heads up, but making the dead ones wriggle about in the liquid. Scared Leela got herself up from the ground, angry at what made this noise. " Who said that? " she shouted angrily. "Down here " a voice said.

Lowering her head, Leela jumped as the head of a man lay on the shelve smiling at her. " Well, it's been a While since we've had a woman here " the head said followed by a few whistles from each corner of the room. Reading the jar, Leela smiled at the name " Antonio Banderas ". " So, What is thou maidens name "? he asked her.

" Um, Leela ". " Ah, a beautiful name for a beautiful woman " the head of Antonio Banderaz said, followed by again with some whistles from each corner of the room. This time making Leela blush. Next door Fry was examining the heads of Forgotten actresses, the same as Leela most of them were either dead or sleeping. Shaking his head and sighing Fry made his way out when a voice he recognized called out. " Fry? ".

Jumping out of his skin, Fry turned round and gasped as to what he saw. "Michelle? is that you? ". On the shelf in front of him in an old cracked dusty jar, was the head of Fry's ex-girlfriend ' Michelle '. "Oh, Fry Thank god your here, I've been waiting for someone to help me " Michelle cried. " I've been here for 4 years on this dusty shelf ".

Gobsmacked, Fry sat down on a nearby bench, and continued to listen to Michelle. Outside Bored already, Bender was in the visitor shop, looking at the lousy gifts for sale, most covered with dust. " Hey, mate you ever dusted in here ?" Bender asked the old man who was busy sorting stuff behind the counter. "I try to but don't get it done since I'm so old, It tires me out, Can I interest you in any of out gifts? " the man asked showing of some stuffed toy robots.

" Nah, hey who the hell are those guys? " Bender asked pointing to an old black and white photo of a young woman and girl. " Oh, that is a picture of my Late wife, and my daughter who is now working in Doop, She visits me sometimes here, sadly this place is the only place that keeps me going ".

" Yeah, sure cool whatever and who's those guys? ". Bender asked pointing to another photo, " Well, that's my parents there is a long story about them 100 years ago... ". As the man continued to waffle on, Bender noticed in a glass cupboard a pink Laptop on display. Bender's eyes widened, as he slowly walked up to it. " Hello! " Bender said in a flirty voice.

" Ah, I see you've taken interest in my daughters old laptop " the man added walking up to the side of Bender. " How much do you want for it ? " Bender asked grabbing the man by the scruff. " I'm sorry sir but it's not for sale ". " WHAT! " Bender screamed.

" I'm sorry sir but it's not for sale " Bender then slowly let go of his grip and sighed. " I would give you it but... ". But before the man could finish his sentence, a loud smash was heard. The man turned round the see shattered glass all over the floor, and caught a glimpse of Bender with the laptop tucked under his arm. " Come back here " the man shouted chasing after him.

" So, I suggest you have a man ? " the head of Antonio Banderas asked Leela, who was sitting on a bench, with the jar by her side . Blushing again Leela shook her head. " Nope, I'm Single " she replied smiling. " Ah, what I'd do to have a lovely women like you ", Blushing again Leela giggled along with the head. Before...

" Eyeball, Let's get the hell outta' here " Bender screamed. " Why what's happened? " Leela asked panicking. " That old guys gone crazy he's, he chasing me around the museum with a gun ". " Oh, Bender what have you done now " Leela asked rolling her eye. " Nevermind, let's just get the hell outta' here ".

Bender shouted grabbing Leela by the arm, Leela then made her way out before. " Wait " the head of Antonio Banderas shouted. "Take me with you please ". " And me, and me " Other heads from around the room shouted. " All I do is sit here eating flakes and watching the old heads rot in their jars ".

Looking guilty, Leela stood and thought for a minute. " Hurry up eyeball " Bender shouted. As she stood there echos were heard from the other end of the room. " Hurry up he's coming " Bender shouted again. Leela then grabbed the jar and ran as fast as she could out the museum, with the old man chasing them as they left.

Planting the jar down upon a seat next to her, Leela buckled herself up. " Where's Fry? " Leela asked Bender who was fiddling with the laptop. " I'm here " Fry shouted entering the room with the jar containing Michelle's head. Catching a glimpse of Michelle's head Leela frowned. " Hurry up Meatbag " Bender shouted. Leela then raised the ship, tackled the dusty winds before flying off into space.

" Fry, you Idiot Why the hell you bringing her here?, she's just gonna' cause trouble ". "Leela, I needed to I couldn't just leave her, besides she needs our help"." Help!" Leela snorted. " Have ever noticed, or are you too dumb to understand that thing there, has caused nothing but trouble your whole life and your wanting to help her, besides how did she end up that way anyway? ".

" I'll tell you ". Turning their heads round everyone looked and stared at Michelle. "4 years ago I was with my new boyfriend, we decided to go on a romantic drive across the surface of mars, it all went well, when suddenly out car toppled over crushing my body, my boyfriend ran away in a panic leaving me there, luckily it was right outside the old head museum and the museum manager, managed to save my head, he stuck me in the old jar and planted me down on the shelf, it was so boring ". "Tell me about it " the head of Antonio Banderas added.

"Eating flakes, and watching old heads rot in there jars while you feared for yours, but thankfully I saw Fry, God I thought I was in heaven when I saw you, but he took me an saved me ". Turning round Michelle gave a warmly smile to Fry, who returned it. Watching them Leela narrowed her eye, and put the ship on auto pilot.

" Right let's just get one thing straight here, what are you wanting us to help you with? ". " Get me my new body back" Michelle replied. " And why should we help you, after what you've done to him". " After what I've done to him, your just as bad". Widening her eye Leela turned to Fry who was standing looking guilty.

" You told her " Leela asked him sharply. " Well, I thought she'd want to know ". " It's none of her business ". " Well, look Leela face it if you saw one of your old boyfriends lying on the shelf you'd help them wouldn't you ". " What old boyfriends? " Bender added sarcastically, followed by a growler from Leela. " Yeah, I see your point, but we're helping her get a body and that's it, nothing else, then she's leaving, and don't get too close to her Fry, she might just dump like she did with her other boyfriends".

" Why do you take what he does?, you dumped him anyway ". " What did you say? " Leela asked sharply. "You heard me, your getting jealous in case we go back out again, or are you just trying to get him cause you can't get any other guy, One eye ". "Now, now Ladies we'll have none of that ".

" Oh my God!, it's Antonio Banderas ". " Hey, I remember you, wait a minute your moaning at me from picking up her head when you get him ". " Well, I couldn't just leave him there, I felt sorry for him ". " And, your moaning at me ". " Now, now no fighting, I'm just thankful that this Lovely woman here saved me" Antonio Banderas head then turned round giving Leela a warmly smile, which was reciprocated.

Watching the romantic scene Fry scowled and turned to Bender who was hypnotised by the laptop that lay in front of him. " Bender what's that? " he asked. Bender then looked up, seeing everyone staring at him with unusual eyes. " You took that from the museum didn't you, that's what made the guy go mad ".

" What " Fry asked. " Bender stole that from the museum, which obviously made the guy go mad ". " Right, enough of this let's get the hell outta' here ". Putting off auto pilot, Leela pulled the gear stick, and wacked her heavy boot down on the pedal, jerking the ship and making it whoosh home towards earth.
"My, my you are a Strong Female " Blushing Leela smiled at the head of Antonio Banderas, while Fry watched in the background jealous.

Here's a Quick update

" So, can you help her Professor? " Fry asked him, as he looked at the 2 jars that lay in front of him. One containing the spoilt Michelle and the other containing, the head of Antonio Banderas. Angrily the Professor turned to Fry, " Of, course I can " he shouted. " I'm the Professor " he screamed punching the air.

In silence the whole crew stared as he stood still, with his arm stretched out. " Anycase, It will take maybe 2 or 3 days for me to grow them, so I'll have to take measurements of your height and weight ". " At last the head of Antonio Banderas cheered, " After 500 years of being in a jar I will be able to walk again ".

" Yes, and I will be able to get my life back on track ". " Yes, everyone please leave while I get these two sorted ". Walking away out the conference room. Everyone left leaving the two heads who sat and watched the professor muck about with, something with his back turned to them. " Here we are, now I'm going to take a blood sample so you may feel a small stinging feeling ".

Turning round the professor wore a pair of plastic goggles over his glasses, and held is his hand a syringe about a meter long. " Don't worry it may hurt....a little ". As the heads lay there, their eyes widened as the Professor headed up to them, and outside Planet Express a few screams were heard from each of them.

Blackness, is all Michelle saw. She felt heavy and unaware as to what was going on about her. She could hear, he Professor shuffling along the floor, twisting something, and drilling something. Wondering what was going on she tried to speak, but a large groan was heard,

" Oh, stop moaning " the Professor snapped. " You can open your eyes now your ready ". Hearing his reassuring voice, Michelle flickered open her eyes, seeing the roof of the Lab. Turning her head, with her eyes still tired, she watched as the Professor who was wearing goggles, and rubber gloves. Took the head of Antonio Banderas, and twisted it on to his new body, with a few cracks here and there.

" Come on Now Wake up " the Professor shouted patting the cheeks of Antonio Banderas. Groaning, Antonio Banderas looked down at his new body and smiled. He raised his hands and touched his face, before the Professor threw him some clothes. " Here, put these on ". Getting up Antonio Banderas, wrapped a towel around him before walking into the bathroom swaying.

"Okay, now your ready put these on " The Professor then shoved some clothes on top of Michelle before tampering with some stuff around the room. Wrapping a towel around her, Michelle Headed out the room towards the other bathroom. Today was just another boring day for Fry, He would maybe once again try and win Leela back, It had been 4 days since he last saw Michelle.

He wanted some fun. Leela wasn't speaking to him, and Bender became abscessed with the new pink Laptop he stole. Sighing he headed into the Lounge area but stop and gasped. " Hey Fry! " Michelle added in a flirty voice. " Michelle, you got your body ". " Yeah, I feel great " she added, sitting down upon the sofa.

Fry was shocked, Michelle wore a tight purple mini dress which showed off her new figure. " What do you think? " Michelle asked Fry, sitting up from the sofa and wrapping her arms around his neck. Gulping, Fry unwrapped her arms and stepped back, " You look um nice " he replied hesitating. " Just nice " She asked re wrapping her arms around his neck.

Frozen, Fry just smiled, but at that moment the door opened and Leela stepped in. " Hi Leela " Fry smiled pushing Michelle away from him. Frowning Leela just rushed passed, ignoring him. Fed, up Leela rushed up to the Kitchen angrily and made herself a mug of coffee. " Hello Leela ".

Screaming Leela dropped her mug spilling the coffee, and turned round to see the tall handsome Antonio Banderas standing wearing a white tuxedo suit. " Oh my God " Leela added looking at his new body. " Yes, I was rather shocked when I looked at myself, but I must say Leela you Look very beautiful this morning ".

Blushing, as per usual Leela walked passed him and sat down at the table, covering her face hoping he wouldn't see her blush. " You see Leela, It's been a long time since I've been out, so why don't we tonight, go out somewhere nice for Dinner, Huh? ". Antonio Banderas asked Leela taking a seat next to her. Shocked, Leela smiled with her face getting redder by the minute, " Gosh, I'd Love to ". " Great " he replied standing up, " I'll meet you outside tonight at 8 then ". " Great " Leela shouted happily watching him Leave the room.
