Guns N' Roses

Easily my favorite band.
You Could Be Mine and Terminator 2 got me into them when I was 4.
I love all their songs, It would be unfair for me to pick just few as the songs I really like, as I happen to like them all, my favorite song changes depending on my current mood.

If there has to be a Guns N' Roses thread (which I'm saying there has to be) then I'm glad that it's me that started it.

I am aware that I missed out that Best Of album but, when you've heard as much GN'R as me, you don't really need it, and the only thrill on that album was Sympathy For The Devil, which I Napstered anyways back in day way before that album ever came out.

It'll be cool if they did what Led Zeppelin did, and had a reunion tour, I mean Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt & Gilby or Izzy ect...
But, then I don't know, whilst I'm suggesting pie in the sky ideas that are never going to happen, would'nt it be cool if Axl pulled off some mega Guns N' Roses show?
Like the current line up, Axl, Bumblefoot ect... plus the line up I just mentioned, having all those people, just working together, just pulling it off, so it soons workable, wouldn't a show like that just go down in history?

Great lyrics, great guitar parts, learn to write a guns N' Roses type of song, and you'd have metallica under your belt.

I do love Metallica riffs.
Slash and Steven Alder's 1st band got a little attention becuase they were kids who were playing Metallica.

But stilll mean what I said.
Learn to WRITE a song that'll pass muster for Guns N' Roses, like lyrics and guitar and everything, and you'd have Metallica well with in your sights, as a musician, in terms of... pulling of what Metallica do.
But inorder to write a GN'R level song, you're going to have to learn a whole lot of GN'R.
I think the lyrics and Slash's guitar soloes and the whole GN'R riffs make them an idle subject to practise.
But only if you're ready for it :P
It's about timing and feeling of music ect... Playing.
