One of the most critically acclaimed shows of all time. I just finished season 1 on DVD, I still have to buy the rest.

Anyone else watch it?

The Wire was a show on HBO about the Baltimore drug trade told from the perspective of both the dealers and the cops.

Good show, I used to watch it when I had HBO, but never got to see full seasons, only caught random episodes. I gotta buy the 1st season, but HBO usually has expensive DVD sets. It's really good though. HBO seems to not disappoint, Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome which was the best show on HBO, Carnivale, Oz. And Generation Kill looks sweet, but I have yet to see it.

Deadwood and Rome made HBO though for me, but I havent seen all of the Wire, so I can't say whether or not it is better.

HBO shows are always excellent. The Wire and The Sopranos are my favorites. The seasons are expensive though, but you can usually find them relatively cheap at stores that sell used DVD's.

The wire is my favorite crime show. The wire show has such an incredible story line that it would almost seem like it was based on a true story. That's why I love to watch The wire episodes (http://download-the-wire-episodes.edogo.com). It is wonderful series indeed.

The only HBO show I have seen so far is Sopranos, and I have heard that The Wire is really good as well. I will buy it at some point it's just that it's over £50 lol...
