Fight club is a book by chuck palahinuk based on the movie 'Fight Club'.
I have yet to read the book. The movie was really good and I hope to read the book.

Every book is made into a movie these days.....
So, a lot of the best movies ever made are based on books.

The book is good, the film is a fairly straight-forward adaptation - as much as possible, being that the narrative is somewhat jumpy. The ending isn't quite as conclusive as the film, but in all it's definitely worth a read.
