Relic is back, after almost dying!

Sorry dudes, I was in the hospital with a mild case of ALMOST DYING. I had a heart attack after flipping my car over. Broke my arm, two ribs, a million stiches, concussion ect. They just transfered me to a hospital were theirs a internet connection. Killer pain medication I have to say!

Yeah, I guess. I've been pretty out of it for the last week however. I barely regained a level head yesterday. I'm on a 24-7 morphine drip where all I need is to push a button and it administers a dose, lets just say I've been using it very liberal. I was driving home at 12:30 at night from a party, I was sober, when this jackass in front of me slams on his breaks, he wasn't sober. His car swerved back and fourth and the only thing I could do to avoid him was drive off the road (I thought I could pass him), unfortunately I didn't see a boulder in which I side swiped sending my new Saab 93 turbo into the air. Thank God I was the only one in the car as the passenger side was completely destroyed as in I was able to touch dirt where the stick shift used to be. I haven't seen the driver of the other car yet but the police women who took my story said he was as asshole. I'll be in the hospital for another week, I'm all right now a little battered but I'll survive. I have my new Macbook to keep me company along with a 500GB Lacie hard-disk full of movies a friend let me borrow. I'll try posting some more but as you can imagine it's not the easiest with only one hand and on a narcotic. I felt like Houdini just trying to reply to you.

Oh shit relic I hope you get better but I was thinking if one of us dies or something how will you guys know about it I think all of the top posters and people who come here alot should tell one friend, that if something happens to you to come to this site and tell everyone so were not worried

I'm home! I came home on Saturday and flew to Los Angeles on Sunday. I thought my mom could help me for a few weeks as I'm still pretty week. Any of you guys live in Los Angeles?

Relic - seems you made an amazing recovery!!!! hope all goes well for you. As far as the idea to have somebody at the ready should anything happen to one of us, when I was going in for surgery I had a friend from the Lost board on tap to email folks to let them know how I came out. It worekd out well, when I came out of recovery I called her and she emailed to let eveybody else know. It kinds on seems stupid, but it was a good way for folks to find out and not worry. Once again Relic glad you came out okay and have good wishes being sent your way.
