Short Summary:
This show is increasingly epic. Go watch it
Story:
It starts off with Kyon, a Student who just graduated from middle school and is now in high school. While introducing each other in class, the class encounters Haruhi, Who quote "Does not have time for ordinary humans." She is very Encentric and Kyon Somehow manages to be the only one who can discuss a conversation with her. They talk, one day Kyon sparked something in Haruhi's mind to make a club. The club is Called the SOS brigade.

it is short for "Sekai o Ōini Moriageru Tame no Suzumiya Haruhi no Dan" , which roughly translates into "Haruhi Suzumiya's Brigade to Greatly Enliven the World". The goal of the SOS Brigade is to "Bring More Excitement to the World" through finding aliens, time-travelers and espers(Psychics) and hanging out with them, according to Haruhi.
The group Gathered 2 other members and the club was now fully ready to be in buisness.
lots of zanyness comes out from the SOS Brigade, Using Exploits on each of the members to Haruhi can get her way.

Haruhi Suzumiya:

She's the main charater besides Kyon. She apparently has the ability to bend reality. She doesn't know about it yet because if she did, the galaxy might get screwed up hugely. Her only power that she can use without her discovering her potential is that if she wishes for something it becomes true.
Mikuru Asahina:

Dubbed the "Moe" of the Bunch, She Is nice, kind, cute, and quote from Haruhi, "Has bigger breasts than me". She is in the Sci fi direction a Time Traveler that has to go on a mission to investigate a Time quake that happened 3 years ago in this time.

Haruhi's Personal Bitch. Does all the hard work in the group. I think there's a Love connection between him and Haruhi or something.

Yuki Was the Only Voluntary Member on the SOS Brigade. She's a very huge book reader, also very emotionless and quiet. She turns out to be a huge informational terminal for another huger one.
Can cast awesome spells and shit. Was Born and sent here 3 years ago. (COINCIDENCE?)

I don't Really care for this character, but he is an esper who helps fight crap they encounter with super awesome fireballs and stuff. Seems to gain his powers 3 years ago. (FUCKING COINCIDENCES)
