In your own opinion, how long should the simpsons go on for? :)

i wouldn't mind if there would be a couple of seasons more. 3-4 something like that

It's a sad thought it will end, but I suppose nothing lasts forever, eventually they'll run out of ideas.

Hope we have another few seasons before that though :D

I think that the show should end once it becomes unprofitable or Matt Groening and the directors think its time for the show to end.

I think it should be the 25th season, since that would make it a quarter of a century and then go out in style.

To be honest man I have this hopeful dream of the Simpsons going forever and actually become a counterpart with the growing world. As the time goes, the show will examine the changes, satirize it, and make out some good jokes or more. To be realistic, I think it should go about 23 seasons or so, but I dunno...

I feel that our children will grow up with the Simpsons just like we did. I just have the strange feeling no ending is in sight.

I'm thinking past 25 seasons... They're not going to end the show if they don't have to nor want to. As long as people watch the show then they'll still create new episodes. :)

Everything can't last forever, but I do believe it will last for a long time before they finally retire the show.

They should really stop, The Simpsons used to be hilariously funny but now it's just dry...
The episodes are often full of predictable events and lame jokes + 20 seasons already?!
It's funny how the The Simpsons got to live the life of a successful sitcom and FOX is still going with it while Futurama was abandoned basically when it hadn't even begun its potential...
