24 hour limits on Reps?

Why is there a limit?

I was trying to give everyone that have created a intro thread each a +1 rep for joining SFF but after the 10th or so one said that I've gave way too many Reps, that I have to wait at last 24 hours to give out any more.

I think a 10 a day limit is silly. :eek:

Well, I want to give everyone that have created an intro thread so far a 1+ Rep for joining. Why? Because I can and I want everyone know that they are appreciated. ;)

Because you are giving too many in a certain time limet.
Or
Because you have given it them or your acount settings are not the same as other pepole.

I'm sure all the Reps that I've given went through, that's not the issue, the issue is that a 10/15 Rep limit per day isn't good to have. If people want to give out reps than they should be able to, right? ;)

If there is no time limit the system will be abused, its best that there is a limit.

Sam, because after 10 or 15 Reps, it gave me a message that I gave way to many Reps for the day, hence, a rep limit, which I think Reps shouldn't have a limit, I think if someone wants to give out Reps then they should.

Could you check into the limit thing? :)

Most vBullitens Have A Limit For Rep, I Think The Limit For It Differs On Different Boards, Like CMF's Limit Is 20 Per 24 Hours.

There Is a limit to stop people going 'rep crazy'. People have to deserve rep and the chances of 10 deserving posts to be repped in a day is quite slim.

It's going to be hard to remember which people I gave the reps and which I haven't. :lol:

Also, I believe we are aloud to give more than 10 Reps a day, how would you know if there's more than 10 deserving reps each day now or later on when the forum starts growing? What if there's more than 10 different times someone helped me in one day? what if there's more than 10 great posts that deserve an Rep in just one day? ;)

I just like giving reps to the great posts, if someone helps me or another person, or have done something nice. :)
