Err, why do you think. If we log on and all of a sudden see this new name, we aren't going to know who it is for a little bit. Admins must run through all name changes and keep it logged in this thread. Seriously, on 95% of forums you cannot change your name via the usercp.

But that should be able to be disabled any way. You should be able to choose whether you want members to change their names their self.

It can i have ran run phppb2 and 3 forums and it gives you the option to disable name changes inm UserCP in the admin config
