well what do you prefer?! I prefer Batman Begins! cuz I can! but srsly what do you prefer?!
Batman Begins, definitely. Batman is a far more interesting story and superhero. Although, Superman Returns, is very underrated. I do not know many people who like it, or didn't like Brandon Routh, but I thought it was actually very well done, and was a great movie. But it's no Batman Begins!

Batman Begins for me. Yeah most didn't have problem with Brandon Routh as Superman, it was Bryan's execution of the story and the lack of punch in it. And the kid and that whole love triangle is bound to create problems for the character in the sequel. A reboot is something I am really looking forward to.

I guess you mean who wears shorts over thier pants. Well Batman also wears it like that in the comics. It's just not very visible, unlike Superman's costume. Most superhero costumes were designed like that since the 1930s, some have changed over the years, some have been changed for screen adaptation. They could have easily changed it for the movies. But fans wouldn't like that, I am happy they kept it. Although I would have preferred the red little more bright including the cape, just like the colors in the comics.
Yeah I think Batman Begins is a better superhero movie than Superman Returns.
Which superhero character is superior? Well that's again entirely of personal preference. I like many of them including Spider-Man, Batman, Wolverine, Superman, Invincible.
My favourite is Spider-Man, the whole teenage superhero with daily problems is what I liked the most. And then there are the wise cracks, the cool poses, spider like moves and the character just has a lot of heart in him.
Many like Batman cause is he is most human, no superpowers, cool cars, cool gadgets and let's face it he kicks major ass.
And although my fav is Spider-Man, for me the most ideal superhero is still Superman.
He is the epitome of good. He possesses and represents the ideal qualities of a human being, to make this world a better place. The fact that he is immortal is what make the character tragic in the long run. Even though they don't necessarily show this in the comics (only in alternate storylines), but none of his friends and loved ones will be there decades later in his life. All will be dead and gone. Just like his home planet Krypton, he will probably be the last survivor of this planet.
Of course many do complain since he is immortal there isn't any real threat, that's why they have the green kryptonite :). Of course even without using Kryptonite there are characters which can do severe damage to him, which is what I am hoping will be used for the sequel.
Warner Bros have confirmed today they are going with a reboot. I just hope they don't make him dark and brooding, cause that is not what the character is about.
The character Superman represents hope.
The character is all about Truth, Justice and the American way. (Of course the last part is pretty much downplayed these days)
