I read it a while back, and again just now. It's a very impressive work, probably the best graphic novel ever made. It's interesting on so many levels, the relationships and setting are just the tip of it. Psychologically and philisophically, it is very deep.

MovieMan, if you like this one you should definitely check out some of Alan Moore's other work. From Hell and V for Vendetta are great as well.

Yeah I Plan To, I Just Finished For The First Time Last Night And It Was Amazing. It Was Actually The First Graphic Novel I've Ever Read, But I Plan To Read More.

I love this graphic novel. I love it. It is probably one of my favorite books of all time.

Anyways, MM, Swan, and I have a Watchmen forum. I have the link in my sig. That is a temp board until we can get vBulletin.


I would recommend this graphic novel to anyone, though.

watchmen reminds me of some superhero game i made in first grade i was liek a turtleman it was werid....
anyways i cant wait to see this it looks awesome!

Watchmen is awesome.

It's definitely up there with Preacher as the best graphic novel ever.

Preacher was an on going series rather than a graphic novel, but yeah it is one of best of the comics series. Too bad the HBO TV deal didn't go through. I am hoping for a movie adaptation based on some of the story lines. Still not sure who is bad ass enough to play Jesse Custer :).

Watchmen casting seems pretty perfect.. can't wait to see these guys in action.
