Sherri and Terri

Sherri and Terri, voiced by Russi Taylor, are identical twins with long purple hair. They perpetually reinforce their identities as twins. They are in the same class with Bart at the Springfield Elementary School. In Homer's Odyssey it is revealed that their father is Homer's supervisor at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. He fires Homer for causing an accident while waving to Bart from a cart during a school tour of the plant. Homer, however, had the last laugh when he was promoted above the twins' father to safety inspector. Their mother is shown in "Bart Sells His Soul" and looks just like her daughters. Sherri was born first; they share their birthday with Rod Flanders.

The girls themselves dress identically, reinforcing their "twin-ness". They are quite snobbish, and never miss an opportunity to berate Bart. Bart appears to have a crush on one of them, as admitted in Hungry Hungry Homer. Sherri referred to Bart as an ugly, smelly dork, but was persuaded by Homer to go on a date with Bart after he told her that neither she nor Bart could do much better. One of the twins stated that her sister had a crush on Bart in Bart Star. Another time Homer openly addressed Terri as "the one Bart has a crush on". However, Bart seems to have forgotten about his crush (he has had many other loves not long after).

The two can also be seen as friends of Lisa and at other times her rivals. In Sleeping with the Enemy, the duo taunt Lisa over her big butt; in Bart of Darkness, they mention that "the same day Lisa got a pool" was the day they realized they like her. In the episode Last of the Red Hat Mamas, it is revealed that they have a secret twin language that only they can understand.

When in the model U.N., Sherri and Terri are seen representing Trinidad and Tobago respectively.

These twins end up With Nelson in the episode where Bart and Lisa go into the professors lab and see there future on the machine. Nelson gets them both pregnant and they both have Twins. Nelson said " Uhh I'm going to go get some Cigarette's"

WITHOUT MY MIRROR-IMAGE


Lisa and principal Skinner are preparing a schoolplay in which Janey is the star.
But Janey gets ill, so time to search for a replacement.
We see a lot of children passing the revue, without much success.
Even Sherri and Terri enter by way of a joke, but it turns out Sherri is actually quite good.
So she gets chosen. First she doesn't want to act, but Lisa convinces her to give it a try.
Together they start studying for the play, first at the Simpsons' home, than at Sherri's.
Lisa discovers the creative talents of Sherri: her poems, her drawings, her fanfiction for Itchy and Scratchy...
They grow closer and Terri gets jealous.
Lisa and Sherri even go on a shopping spree after Lisa convinces her to dress differently than her sister.
The result is fabulous and Sherri turns out to be quite the cute girl in her new clothes and hairstyle.
After returning home, they find a very annoyed sister.
Terri is shocked, starts to yell, says a lot of mean stuff against Lisa and runs to her room.
"I guess she really was the evil one", says Lisa, but a quick shot to the girl's room shows a crying Terri, lying on her bed, surrounded with stuffed happy elves-dolls.
After the play, Lisa motivates Sherri to take the next step for entering a talent-contest organised by Channel Ocho. So she sends an old picture of hers accompagnied with her fanfiction to the network and a few weeks later, she gets news from the network. She has won.
First prize turns out to be a recurring guest-role in the Bumblebee show and Sherri is excited.
Meanwhile, Terri is eavesdropping in the hall, while drinking some Buzz-cola.
When she hears her sister cheering and even calling Lisa her BFF, she has to cough so hard from the shock, the cola is coming out of her nose.
A few weeks go by and the recordings for the new Bumblebee show are starting.
It's also the episode in which Sherri makes her debut.
We see a montage of Sherri getting introduced in the studio's, getting the make-up, getting the clothes mixed
with another montage of Terri looking at old pictures of her and her sister, sappy music playing in the background.
When recordings for the show finally start and Bumblebee Man is coming out of his trailer with a big jar of honey, Sherri has to go to the bathroom real urgent because of the stress.
But unfortunately, she passes the writing-room and hears by accident the real reason why she was cast.
Apparently, she was chosen for her weird look and her role in the show is just for ridicule.
She starts to cry, takes her cellphone and calls Lisa.
"It is Bumblebee's show!" answers Lisa, "they are always making ridiculous practical jokes."
Sherri confesses she never saw the show, because they don't have Channel Ocho at her home.
She gets mad, because she can't believe Lisa didn't warn her for the kind of show she had to play in.
She leaves the studios without notice, takes the bus back to Springfield and walks the last few miles by foot.
It starts raining and her make-up drips from her face.
She arrives home, her clothes all wet, so she puts on her old clothes, the twin ones.
After being redressed, she turns around and she sees her sister standing there with a little subtle smile on her face.
"Welcome back..." whispers Terri.
