As im not sure the competition is now going ahead iv decided to just post my entry now, so as not to waste it.
Title- Fry's Calling
plot
In New New York everything is quite, while Fry and Bender are on the coach drinking beer and eating pizza watching tv. Leela and Amy are on the tanning beds for the dates they are going on for that night.
However on the system of The Death
Knox.The leader Lord Tallis has created a army far worse than anything ever seen in the galaxy, flesh eating birds!
As they decend on New New York, terror arises as humans and aliens alike are soon being eating alive.
Meanwhile back at Planet Express, Professor Farnsworth gives the news to Fry, Bender and Leela. That Zapp Brannigan has ordered all available ships to go and fight the enermy.
As Fry, Leela and Bender set off to fight the enermy. Amy gets news that Kif has been sent by Zapp to try and do fake negotians to distract the enermy for the attack. However Kif has been taking hostage, and as she feels shes the only one that can save him. Amy sneeks on the ship, as the Planet Express heads to Lord Tallis's base in Madison Square Gardens. (MSG)
While flying over the city to MSG, the group see the devastation caused. All around NNY, half eating bodies lay everywhere. While being surronded by buildings that has been destroyed.... The end is near...
As the group lands at MSG, Fry, Leela and Bender go to fight the monsters, while Amy sneeks off in search of kif.
As battle commences, all around Fry, Leela and Bender. People begin to get slaughered, by the monsters. While trying to duck from body parts flying everywhere. Leela decides shes had enough as they will be killed, so she orders Fry and Bender back onto the ship. However just as she gives the orders, one of the monsters snatches her. As Fry trys to hold on to Leela, another monster attacks Fry making him lose his grip on Leela.
As Frys runs back to the planet Express to take chase, he decides to ask Zapp for help. But when Zapp refuses to help him. Fry knows theres only one thing he can do, he must go to The Dead Knox to rescue the love of his life.
Meenwhile back at the battlezone, Amy finds a near dead and torn apart Kif. As she makes her way to him, Kif shouts at Amy to look out. But just as she turns, one of the monsters graps her and as she begins to scream. Kif must watch her get eating alive, then theres silence. As a second monster swoops down and kills Kif.
Meanwhile back with Fry and Bender, they eventually arrive at The Death Knox.
As they both sneek into the main base, they are meet by an army of killerbots. As Bender attacks, he gives Fry enough time to escape to carry on the mission to find Leela.
Eventually Fry finds Leela tied against a rock above a pit of lava. He shouts out to her and begins to run towards her. But as Leela shouts at Fry to get back, Lord Tallis comes from nowhere and strikes a bloody blow against Fry.
As the two stare at each other, the final showdown is about to erupt...
As a very bloody battle commences between the two, Fry is getting over powered. As he lays on the floor in a bloody state with blood gushing everywhere.
Lord Tallis gives gives Fry a way out from death. Fry may return to 1999 and survive as long as Leela dies.
However Fry makes one last attack at Lord Tallis causing a rifted in time.
As the whole Planet begins to crumble, Bender runs in with his ass on fire!! Seeing this as his only chance to save Leela.
Fry grapes hold of Lord Tallis, knowing what must be done..... He must sacrifice himself to kill Tallis and save his friends.
As Fry orders Bender to rescue Leela, Fry is holding back Tallis with all his strengh.
As Leela and Bender go to escape, Leela looks back at Fry. For that one split second as both sets of eyes connect, love meets them both in the eyes.
Just as Bender and Leela escape the planet onboard the Planet Express. The planet explodes with Fry still on it holding back the one threat to the whole universe.
As Fry and Tallis begin to get crushed in time, they finally land at the end of time just as the universe is about to emplode on itself, killing them both.
Meanwhile back on board the Planet Express, both Leela and Bender are overcome with the loss of Fry. One the loss of his best friend. The other, the loss of the one she loved but never admitted to it....

This episode was ment to be about sacrifice, and would you put yourself in danger and even death to save the ones you love. Unlike other futurama episodes, i decided to make one much darker, with blood and loss.
