There are a few bands on that list that I do like...Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Foo Fighters. And as a devoted Queen fan I was thrilled to see Freddie Mercury on the list. :D Also love Nirvana, it never gets old!

Reminds me of a story my sister told me of a couple of her friends. They were at Wal-Mart one day right around the time the movie of the Incredible Hulk came out, and her friends were playing in the toy section with the Incredible Hulk gloves, you know, the ones that made noise when you banged them together? Anyway, they were causing such a ruckus that the management kicked them out of the store but forgot to take the gloves from one of the guys, so as they went out the door my sister's friend turned around and yelled, "HULK THROW!" and hurled the gloves at one of the employees, nailing him in a very sensitive area.

I'm certain that I'm not alone in this opinion, but I have pretty eclectic music tastes - I tend to prefer indivdual songs over everything that a single artist or band produces. I have no favourite musical genre - although heavy metal and country don't tend to do it for me - and just listen to music based on moods and what I feel like listening to at that particular moment in time.

People actually get really freaked out by the stuff on my mp3 player sometimes (:S) because I have stuff like the Backstreet Boys and Xtina and Britney next to Nine Inch Nails, the Foo Fighters, Queen, the Beatles and other such "Serious" artistes. lol

I'm not a big fan of metal. But it still beats pop anyday in my books. A pile of crap even surpasses pop music. Seriously, the only one who actual gave pop a good name was Elton John, since he did an assortment of genres. Pop just happened to be one of them. It just seems like these days that the music industry has been hiring a bunch of sheep. Music has surely changed for the worse.
