Just watched the 2 hour pilot (around 1hr 20 mins total without commercials). The show was quite entertaining and definitely has potential, something similar to say X-Files with little more action and will probably have more amount of sci-fi in upcoming episodes. And since this is a production by J.J. Abrams it probably might get green lighted for a whole season.
The Pilot is pretty good, but the lead Female, IMO, is very annoying. I don't like the woman who plays her, there is just something about her that turns me off from this show. Joshua Jackson is awesome though, and so is the father. Great little thing going between them two. And, fortunately, JJ Abrams started Lost, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I set this whole series to record on my dvr but I know next to nothing about it. JJ helped make it, that's my sole reason for taping it.

This is going to be good. And I base that on the fact that JJ's name is on it.

I Think This Looks Pretty Good, I'm Looking Foward To It.
I thought the Pilot was great, I downloaded the Screener of it, it was pretty good. Good to see Joshua Jackson in a new show.

Yep, I'm watching or recording this every Tuesday on FOX. It's a great concept with fringe/pseudo science and the patterns... Cool show.

Bump. Anyone still watching this? It's pretty awesome.
Only been a few weak episodes.
Can't wait for the boxset to come out, because I've forgotton so much.

I'm watching. Think it's pretty cool. By the by, what are your thoughts on the snake/bat/worm (correct me if I'm wrong) thing? When its larvae burst out of the dead guys chest, it scared my sister and me quite badly, and my sister refuses to watch "an episode with a monster in it". Did anyone watch the finale?

J.J. Abram's rocks! I'm glad Slusho made an appearance in a Fringe episode. Since this thread is kinda about J.J. Abrams, has anyone seen Star Trek?

I have! Man, was that a great movie! Zachary Quinto (lol Sylar Spock) was absolutely perfect for the role of Spock, and the redshirt made us laugh

Same here. The grave scene with Walter Bishop in the season finale was kind of sad when you realise what really has happened. I'm definitely sold for the next season.

I agree,
it is sad knowing the Peter of this universe has died. I wonder what happened when the Walter from the other universe discovered his son went missing?

So, I forgot, what were your two favorite S1-episodes?
Acid Eco

"Inner Child" and "The Road Not Taken"
although I don't think you'll like Inner Child, as it's more of a case-of-the-week thing - the other episode is very exciting :)

Anyone catch the season 4 opener? It was quite a cool episode, but a bit crappy for the season starter. Kinda needed more explaining of how things are going to work.

Ah well I won't spoil any of it if most of you aren't there yet, but what season 3 ended at I expected abit more from the season 4 opener. Maybe I'm just being abit impatient though.

This is very true. Overall it was quite a cool episode.
And it looks like Lincoln Lee will be a proper main character this season which is good, I like him. Both versions of him.
