Easily a 10. It is the one and only TV show I bought on DVD sight unseen (mainly because the first season was on sale for about $25) and loved it.

Volumes 2-4 were only icing on the cake. I loved each and every episode. Now... I dislike only one episode (Cryonic Woman) and every other one makes me laugh in one way or another. One of the best TV shows ever created, my favorite piece of American animation, and consistently the funniest commentaries of any DVD set I own.

If I could rate it a 20, I would.

It's just it's all that much more disappointing when a really great show has a weak episode - truth be told, a weak Futurama episode is still above the standard of the better eps of other series, but we're so used to great quality, the fans feel really down when a weak ep rears its unwanted head! :'(

Good point, Futurama has a lot more depth in the characters than any other cartoon, and most live action shows. You actually feel for Fry when his message in the stars gets blown up. And it has originallity that no other show has, and just for that it deserves a 10/10. :)

In one commentary, I believe it was Maurice LaMarche who demonstrated how to do a William Shatner impersonation without resorting to all of the usual shatnerisms. It had me in tears from laughing so hard!
