was watching a rerun tonight the episode where homer buys a dumbbell and his right arm gets really strong. Anyway it always slightly annoys me when homer goes off and gets some random job or whatever and he still manages to keep his job at the power plant. Well in this episode it was actually brought to light.

Homer said something like "Marge i'm off to join the pro arm wrestling circuit"

Marge: How will this effect your job at the power plant.

Homer: Negatively I suppose

so kudos to whichever writer had the khtsba to actually point that out.

well it shows how linear the shows plots are when they have to get him a new job every week

which is a shame it made for some great locales for many episodes.

I stopped watching it after the Horse episode. I just couldn't take it anymore.

I just keep to the classic episodes. There's the odd one that are still funny now but not that many. I still loved the film though.

but yeah. The Plant's got some of the best jokes in it.

"well. it worked on my giant hand.... no wait it's this one" *falls down*
