Yeah, it looks pretty cool - I'll definitely have to check this out! I just got the first season of the original Clone Wars series today, I'm hoping to have a look at some point over the weekend.

It does, Anakin has a female Padawan called Asohka Tano.

That's where things get blurry, technically yes Anakin is still a Padawan at the start of the war, but by the end he's a Jedi Knight, it depends on where in the war it is.

Ah...because it seemed to me that he was still technically a Padawan in Revenge of the Sith too.

By Revenge of the Sith Anakin is a Jedi Knight, he has his own seat on the council. But they decide not to make Anakin a master because he is too close to Palpatine.

All they did was take out the exaggerated animation from the original clone wars series and make it more life like.

Now Lucas is saying that the Clone Wars that is coming to cinemas is indeed a movie now which grew out of the upcoming tv show.

I just finished watching the animated Clone Wars series - oh joy! I can't wait until this is released, I just had my passion for Star Wars reignited!

Lucas has also mentioned that the series will have more than a hundred episodes, each 22 minutes long. So that's at least 36 hours of Star Wars. Also, this series will be canon. This sounds really, really good. Add this to the Live Action TV show in development and I'm back to the frenzy I was in preceding the release of Revenge of the Sith lol

Fantastic trailer, I can't wait to see it! This is going to be soo good! Incidentally, did you know that Hutts (such as Jabba) are hermaphrodites? They choose their own gender - if they want children they become women. With the trailer indicating that Jabba has a son, that would make him a her in the original trilogy lol Just a fun little example of how expanded universe screws stuff up lol

I felt raped after seeing this, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but this had no depth to it whatsoever. Repetitive action scenes, phoned in voice acting, bad dialogue, and a plot that didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the movies (Jabba having a son? Anakin having an apprentice?) Some of the dialogue was so bad that it was unintentionally funny. The ending was so anti climatic as well, they needed to save Jabba's baby, they saved Jabba's baby, the end. I'm just annoyed and disappointed, I love Star Wars but this is just a new low. :(

I wish this had just been released on to Saturday morning TV in to three separate episodes, rather than making this movie and daring to put it in cinemas. Obi-Wan Kenobi was simply the worst, he was so annoying and suave, and just over confident, he had some of the most laughable dialogue in the entire movie. And since when did Anakin Skywalker have the cool dude attitude of a 3D Sonic the Hedgehog?

I loved this movie, true the hut stuff is a bit meh but i liked the voice acting and the action scenes. Finally we see some AT-TE action.
