Yeah, that'd be great. Quite logic too, if they want to release the remaining films before 2009, they ought to do it with 4 months in between each. So, we'd probably be seeing Bender's Game around July and Into the Wild Green Yonder around November.

Do you really think this is going to be released on the 18/03/08 because we have heard no news, no covers, no extras not even a colour trailer yet and its meant to be released in three weeks? They have removed the release date info from Wikipedia aswell as they believe its not accurate, just because IMDB says so. IMDB is updated through members of the site so could just be someone having a laugh!

As much i would like to see this in three weeks my mind is starting to have doubts.............

Although I thought BBS was a little lacking on the comedy I really hope this one has another great story. The stories of Futurama is what keeps bringing me back moreso then the jokes so I hope this one follows that trend.

Oh and I'm pissed that I have to wait that long but so be it, just keep em coming!

Well, I imagine they'll just do reruns of the original episodes as well as BBS now they've got it in episodic format. And they probably won't air BWBB before sometime this fall, if people could just watch it on the telly why would they bother buying it?

well just because it is released in the us on TV doesn't mean it is released everywhere else and doesn't mean people won't buy them. if you check out south park also on comedy central, they release the episode on tv, then online, and also have the episodes on itunes and that show does really well.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'd buy the DVD even if it was shown on TV before released on DVD. All I'm saying is, these films are created specifically for the DVD market - the first priority isn't being aired as episodes or they'd have them cut up from the beginning. The sale of the DVDs are all that really matter, and they'd definitely go down if people could just watch it on the telly instead.
And yes, I realise that South Park and basically every other show is aired before it's released on DVD, but those are all intended for a TV audience; Fox backs the films financially, and they only profit from the DVDs - they already sold the rights to air them so they don't really care too much about that.

i guess it also makes me sad that with the slow release of these dvds, though good for dvd sales, isn't going to get futurama more fans in the future. by this i mean people who have just been introduced to futurama, haven't watched every episode to be familiar with certain things in the movies and fans like us have to wait months for dvds and the movies to air as new episodes.

which may not be good for the future of futurama after the four movies.
sure there will always be this as a fan base but awesome things have less activity once the show has disappeared.

i am just rambling :P sorry if none of that made sense
