View Full Version : I noticed a Conundrum here.

I remember two episodes that screwed with my mind: The one where Zapp gets his captian Title revoked and The Star trek special.

I remember in the Zapp episode, before they delivered the sissors to the new DOOP, they translated it so fry can understand what doop is. They mentioned star trek. STOP.
In another episode, Star trek was a banned word in another episode, so, what just happened now? :mellow:

The first question I have to ask is: when they mentioned Star Trek was it on Earth? I'm pretty sure Star Trek talk was only banned on Earth, but I could be misremembering of course. If it was on Earth, though, then it's simply a continuity error.

What about the very first episode, where Leela is chasing Fry to give him his work chip. He runs into the library and meets Leonard Nimoy. Fry then talks to him about Star Trek.

Hehe, I remember thinking of the Star Wars episode when I rewatched the pilot last, now that I think about it. Just a continuity error.
