When should i be able to have it as my avatar without it ruining things for people?

Please do wait for some more time, I have been avoiding all spoilers to experience this movie in the theatre. Sadly I don't know how much longer I can wait. I usually don't download new movies even though they might be good screener prints, unless of course it's a indie film (cause they will never get released here in theatres). Paramount hasn't released Cloverfield in India yet, but most big budget movies which are released in US gets the same day release in India. Of course comparatively Cloverfield wasn't a big budget film (around $25 million), but still the online marketing has been pretty good and this movie has generated lot of buzz here, I hope it gets released this month.

If it doesn't get released here soon, you can go ahead and use those avatars. :)
And if you do plan to use it anytime soon, please make a announcement like this thread. Then others like me, who don't want to know, can just disable the "Show Avatar" option in the profile settings. Thanks

i say wait until next week. then put it up. once the movie is released they start showing more stuff in trailers. already here in the US they show the monster in the TV spots now.

I have turned off avatars now, Clove thanks once again for the consideration and giving me the notice... yeah hopefully I will get to watch the movie soon. I been searching for some online contact details of Paramount Pictures, so that I can put a general query to them regarding the release date for India, also unlike say Columbia Pictures who have a separate Indian website and division, Paramount doesn't have any.
