Hey Y'all! I'm new. Big Futurama fan obviously, and I loved BBS! It was great to spend some time with my buddies from NNY again. I'm almost ashamed to say I didn't catch on to the Lars/Fry thing till the end of the movie, I should have though, but I'm used to hearing multiple characters voiced by Billy so I just didn't pay much attention. Do you guys think Lars might have felt a little guilty for stealing Lela away from himself, having experienced it from both sides? Do you think he would eventually reveal his true identity? I bet that kinda pissed Fry off when they did find out after Lars sacrificed himself. If he never went back an hour for the pizza that HE would be Lars and finally win Lela's heart lol

I, too, wasn't massivley suspicious: just because Lars was voiced by Billy West didn;t really mean anything, cinsidering how many extra characters he voices! I was a little suspicious about the nose shape, but thought "Oh, he and Fry must be related and the people at Applied Cryogenics just didn't pick up on more relatives during the DNA scan Fry had!"

But I was too busy being an annoyed Leela/Fry 'shipper, so I was distracted! lol

I'd love to see/hear Lars' internal monlogue throughout the film: I think it would indeed be interesting to know what he was thinking while everything was happening. How did he feel seeing Bender again? Hermes? Amy? The Professor? Leela? What were the five previous years he spent in the future like? Did he see any of the PE crew during that time?

The question as to whether he felt guilty at all is interesting, too - did he? Or was he just glad he finally had Leela? lol

Since he's wanted Leela for so long I don't think guilt was on his mind, I think the story of him not wanting to make Leela feel bad cause he was going to die explanation suffices to explain his strange attitude.

About the catching on thing, I don't mean to sound arrogant saying this, but I suspected the Lars/Fry thing quite soon.. Well, first off, when he first came on the screen I said to myself "Wow, he really looks like Fry" I thought it might just be a matter of drawing it quickly and not wanting to start from scratch or something. But it was after the whole time travel concept came up that I figured it out.

why would lars feel guilty? he's lived as fry until fry time travelled to the past. afrter watching it a second time i just kept thinking that lars is replaying a part of his own past. Lars experienced being jealous over 12 years previously (his pov anyway) sp it had to happen exactly as he remembered

(lars pov) after witnessing lars and leela relationship and everthing else that happens he travels 1000 odd years to escape being killed, fights a bender time-duplicate, meets the now-original fry then goes off cause he knows he's now a time-duplicate himself. Lives his life for 12 years till he freezes himself. He unfreezes 5 years before he meets himself again and goes out with leela. He experpeinces things exactly as it happened till he sacrifces himself to save leela

What i find srange tho is when bender tells everyone he's killed fry lars looked shocked even though he knows bender never killed him because he is the fry bender tried to kill

I sure hope Lars felt bad, that was mean of him to run off without an explanation
