Heath Ledger Dead at 28

I'm sorry to inform all you Heath ledger fans but he has died at the young age of 28. Sources say his body was found with pills around it but nothing has come out about what the cause of death was.

He was an actor in "10 Things I Hate About You," "Brokeback Mountain" and he was playing the Joker in the new Batman movie.

This is so sad. He had a little girl and everything...

When I first read the headline at the Coming Soon site, I was hoping this would be some viral marketing for The Dark Knight, but after catching this on several other news sites, I still couldn't believe it, this is so sad :(. He was one of the best upcoming actors and was always taking up such diverse roles. "10 Things I Hate About You" was his breakout film and although I don't prefer many teen comedies, this is movie was really good and is one of my fav teen movies, also thanks to Heath's charming performance. "A Knight's Tale" was another fun film and later on Heath further proved his acting chops in "Brokeback Mountain" gaining an Oscar nomination. His upcoming performance as the Joker will definitely be the most memorable one.

RIP Heath... you will be missed.

His death is such an incredible shock! I still can't quite believe it! :( He was a great actor. Who knows what he may have achieved in the future? :(

His poor family! His poor daughter! :(

In a way, though, I am glad that the paparazzi has finally served a purpose: Matilda (his daughter) will grow up knowing how much her father loved her, not only from what she is told by those around her, but also because of the thousands of photographs the paps took of her and Heath when they were together.

I saw he'd died this morning on the front of a newspaper. It's horrible! Ruined my day, I've been walking around depressed all day. In my opinion, he was one of the most promising young actors in the business. And he left behind a daughter.. This is truly a great tragedy.

today i was reading something that was comparing him to jack nicholson, not just because they both played the joker but because JN almost ended up in the same sitch, he nearly overdosed on sleeping pills and was commenting on the pressure involved when you are a young actor

but then it went away. and then it started coming back once i saw him as the joker. can't wait for the new film to be released.
