Blackpool have completed the signing of striker Steve McPhee from Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old, who has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal, was a target for Blackpool manager Simon Grayson last summer and in November.
Grayson told Blackpool's website: "We tried to do it in November as a loan deal so at the third time of asking, we've got him now.
"He's got a fight to get into the team but is prepared to take the challenge."
McPhee joined Hull in May 2005 and made just 18 league starts for the club.
He previously had spells with Port Vale and Coventry.
