Watford have completed the signing of Hereford forward Lionel Ainsworth on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Ainsworth, 20, had been on loan with the Championship club with the view to making the move permanent.
He joined Watford in late November, made his debut against Barnsley on 24 November and started the game against Plymouth on 15 December.
Ainsworth has represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
He has also had loan spells with Bournemouth, Wycombe and Halifax.
