Why the heck did they hire the Guys who directed the matrix trilogy to do this.

they didn't, the guys from the matrix trilogy wanted to make the movie so it's all them. i'm SO damn excited for this film. but i am a huge fan of the cartoon from when i was really young so that could be why. i think they're going to do a good job bringing this to live action. it's like watching an FZero match.

i have a mach 5 toy! and some action figures to put in it. had to stick chim chim and spritle inthe trunk of course. and the toy has alot of the same button action as the real car. quite cool.

Pretty swift looking car. I was never really into Speed Racer myself.
