the HMV stands for His Masters Voice i know very weird but true, hence the logo of the dog listening to a gramaphone (old old music player)

awesome site, they seem to have some good deals, too bad they would be negated by the extra cost of importing oh well

It's been released in other European countries as well. I was a bit uncertain as to whether Americans had this release, but I guess you don't. It's a pretty good box, nice and sturdy cardboard - beautifully decorated as well. I got mine from Amazon, it's on sale there! (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Futurama-Complete-Seasons-1-4/dp/B0002UUO8G/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1196591602&sr=8-1) The one from Amazon is identical to the HMV one, except that it's not flat. I'm guessing this is due to the DVDs being slim, rather than normal.

Good luck! Just be warned, the one I have only has room for the slim DVDs, not the regular ones - make sure you get the right box.

Interesting, id never seen that box set before.
HMV sounds like our store FYE here. Or like Suncoast, which was the BEST until they decided to close down. i miss that place so badly. they had TONS of anime stuff as well.

Yeah, they've got some expensive stuff. Still, sometimes they've got some pretty good offers there. Also, their books are usually pretty cheap. I got The Godfather and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for 3£ each!

In one of the Futurama comics released in the UK and Ireland, they were giving away boxsets like that in a competition. I entered but alas, I did not win.

Yep, it surely does exist, although I don't think they're very common. I've seen them a few times in shops here in Australia.

perhaps that sjust in australia. cos over here it was for sale in loads of shops

They're over here as well, just rather rare. The single releases of seasons are most common over here, it allows them to sell a lot more at additional cost all in all.

I was talking to a sales assistant just today, actually: apparently they are fairly few and far between right now in Sydney because they sold out really quickly, and Fox hasn;t been too quick to restock the shops! :(
Not that I care - I have all four seasons on DVD already! lol
