No i havn't
Well. Its a lot like paintball. But you shoot 6mm round BB bullets. Unlike stupid PBguns airsoft guns look and feel the same as the real ones. Almost every real weapon has bee turned into an airsoft gun like: m4, m16 AK 47 AK 48 L85 mp5 and so on. The Bullet fires about 200-550 feet per second depinding on the gun. I have a l96 or AWP if you will. At airsoft it is called type 96 couse they didnt get the rights to the name. At the moment it shoots about 450 feet per second. And I also have a mp5. Go to www.redwolfairsoft.com to see some guns. Any questions will be answered. Oh yeah you have to use protectin goggles like Bolles so you dont lose your sight. You can dress as a soldier from any country. Popular countries are. Russia, Usa, Germany,Britain. And some crazy Hamas terrorists.

Dont know about pariah...but i love Akira, Ghost in the shell, Crying freeman, vampire hunter D, errrr...loads more...just cant think at the moment. How about you cleo? whats your favorite anime? Check out http://www.crunchyroll.com/ has loads of good stuff on it :D
Being new, I'm just now getting around to reading the old posts....guess I'll post anyway...my hobbies are film, art, music, sarcasm and wit, aikido, tv, beer and Jagger, WOMEN, GIRLS, DAMES, BETTIES, TWISTS, LADIES, ETC...
Like Gaz, I am a huge fan of animation...kind of a hobbyist expert...( I try )
Not really into big eye tiny mouth Japanimation, but LOVE Akira, Mononoke, Howls', Steam Boy, Nausica etc...
One favotite is Animatrix Peter Chung rocks!! Aeon Flux, Reign etc.
Also cartoons from the 20s and 30s.....b/w Popeye, Betty Boop etc
Oh.......and Felix the Cat...
Oh yea.....Blood the Last Vampire and Spirited Away...
Hard to remember all the crap I like...
I have over 5000 dvds ( no bootlegs )
6000 cds
too many books to count
ex comic book collector ( 25 years ago )...
ok...I'll shut the hell up now
Gazereths
05-01-2007, 10:13 PM
5000 DVDs that must have cost shed loads of cash..Animatrix is awesome..better than any of the live action films. My fave was the second renaissance 1&2. Although they were all excellent. Never heard of steam boy before. Mononoke was brilliant too. You ever seen grave of the fireflies? really poignant and quite upsetting...but a great anime.
Fireflies is one of my faves...yea, I have lots of film...plus I've been buying cds for 20 years or so...I'm a music head...self proclaimed expert on music history...
I've earned my age....

05-01-2007, 10:31 PM
So what comic books did you collect when you were younger? Do you have any rare examples? Some of the prices of the early superman and spider-man comics are astronomical. Don't quote me on this but i think i remember seeing one for sale on the net for a staggering £250,000!! Amazing!!
I started collecting in 1969...got serious in 1973...I had ALL the Marvels...Thor,Spiderman,Fantastic Four,ETC ETC ETC ETC...kept them for years and sold them slowly...kept a few like Spiderman 1-50...FF 1-50...ECs etc, but finally traded them away and now I'm surrounded by my hardcover volumes...X-Men was cool too...had the old ones 1-40 or so...got to meet Jack Kirby, Stan Lee. Frank Frazetta and lots of others...that was YEARS ago...sigh...good times...
Gazereths
05-01-2007, 10:54 PM
Did you get any signatures on any of the comics...they would be worth s fortune now. Do you regret selling/trading them? Spider-man 1 with stan lees sig would be piceless!! Id love a matt greoning sig on my special edition number 1 futurama comic...But i doubt that will ever happen :(
No,,,not a big fan of autographs...I don't like the idea of having to prove you've met someone...besides, they're just people too! Back when I was collecting it was a small hobby...I still have a catalog that offers Fantastic Four no. 1 for 25.00 and Spiderman no.1 was 5.00...yikes! 25 bucks was a lot for me when I was 11 or 12 years old...easy to buy new ones though...only 12 cents! I heard Matt signs stuff if you ever get to meet him...the sixties was the last REALLY fun and affordable time to be into comics...they all got too smart!! I still like some of the new stuff..Neil Gaimans' Sandman is cool...He's the one that did 'Mirrormask'...Oh, and Hellboy...Now I would rather watch than read.....Wow..lots of stuff for the Gaz Man to read!
Gazereths
05-01-2007, 11:50 PM
I doubt i will ever get to meet mat groening..As he doesn't come to the UK very often (that i know of) and its less likely i will go to the states.I would love to go one day though!!! Have you ever been to England?
Nope...always wanted to go...Chelsea, Liverpool ( I'm a Beatles nut...remember, I am old enough to remember when the Beatles arrived here in 1964...1st record I ever had was them...I was 9 years old ) someday maybe I'll get over there...love to have a few pints with you and the missus mate!

like when they're aiming the gun at a criminal but accidentally shoot someone else cos their aim was off
Not a lot of that happening, to my knowledge.
We have a few people getting shot because the cop THINKS they have a gun....
But if they comply, they don't get shot.
If you're running and refuse to stop...or try to run over a cop....
