I personally LOVE the banner for this site but was wondering what everyone else thought of it.

Simple yes or no.

I voted yes. The best one we've ever had!!..Looks professional...The only problem is when you view it on a large screen there is nothing on the right side of it...But it's still damn good!

Yeah, i found that, we need to add something to the hidden section of the banner so it still looks ok for widescreens.

Thank you, oh reasonable one!! But the content of the site is the key....not the fancy wrapper!!

When I first joined, the Futurama theme song would play EVERYTIME you changed to the main page!! It was cool for a day or two....then I started going bazonkers!!

Now I miss that.........

I said yes, because it goes with the color scheme of the site...but I'm not crazy about our colors...I do think we could make it a bit more colorful around here.

Yer thats what i thought. The colours are nice and nutural with a nice gradient effect.

Then how come I'm alone ion my voting?? lol It makes me seem like a meanie!!

My only problem with it is, the characters seem to be thrown in there randomly. I would rather see a portrait of the characters, if you get my drift.....
Like something on the cover of a book or magazine......

But again....it doesn't bug me that much or anything.....relax!!!

Maybe something a little more dynamic?
I believe one of the negatives i had a while ago was the banner

I do have a widerscreen computer so that always bugged me but it wasn't that big of a deal...i have learned to get used to it...almost love it because it is a famailar thing to the forum.

maybe if you guys decide to change it...you guys can have a banner challenge?
And then there can be a vote on it.

Yeah, but at the moment the poll suggests it does not need to be changed. But when we do, i will bare that in mind.

Well, the poll is about whether or not you like the banner. I do. But at the same time I'd like to see another one, but that's not really what the poll's about.

I love it except the "Welcome to the..." part.
I know i just joined, but after awhile, it gets annoying to look at it.
you can be a year old member and still see the "Welcome to the..." part of it.

I don't even notice it anyway, fairly small and infront of a picture.

Oh man, that brings back memories...it would be cool to have the theme song back again. At least until it drives everyone crazy lol

No. It's tacky and makes us look unprofessional. Not sure how it would be done properly, because before i added the javascript into the html code, but i cant see any html code to edit anymore.
