Yeah, my name is referring to "Scrubs" aka the best real life comedy around these
days (not calling it "Sitcom" on purpose) . TheTodd is my favorite cause he´s such a funny pervert :).
The 4th season just came out on DVD. Have to buy it as soon as possible.

I really liked the new episode of Scrubs tonight....all singing!! Normally, I wouldn't care for that type of thing, but it was SOOO well done I couldn't help but like it!! I'm anxious to get this season on dvd so I can watch it again!

If there are any other Scrubs fans out there, we can use this thread to talk about our favorite stuff from the show.....
1. The music from the show is great! I've found lots of new artists from it!

2. The episode where Dr. Coxs' wifes' brother dies is so touching, it kills me every time!!

3. The episode with the old lady dying and escaping to a birthday party is one of my faves!!

4. Elliot is so hot it kills me. Kills me dead. Oh, yea......dead.

I LOVE Crista Miller....she was on Drew Cary also...and she's married to Bill Lawrence, the shows' creator.

Hey, I thought that was my idea that I stole from a picture I found on a website that Gaz eventually posted on this forum. LOL

Tonight's episode was really good, not quite as funny as usual, but heartfelt. I really liked how they put it in Kelso's perspective, it gave a new understanding of his character and what made him what he is now. Interesting to hear his real attitude toward his job and his son. I also liked that the writers gave voice to both sides of the Iraq controversy, without really taking either side. It's not often you see that on TV.

Love Scrubs :). Unlike last season, they have so far downplayed lot of the extreme practical gags. I remember many fans complaining about it. Of course, if it's all in JD's imagination then I am fine with it. Only 6 eps have been aired and I like how it's turning out. I hope the writers strike gets resolved, so that Bill Lawrence can give Scrubs a proper series finale.

Yep... that's what I meant. The final season will be the 8th season (with 18 eps) on ABC. Bill Lawrence did mention ABC might continue the series with season 9 without him and Zach Braff. But I don't want to see that happen, make it a series finale.

Cool, I didn't know that. I'll agree with you though, if Zach Braff and Bill Lawrence drop out they should just pull the plug on the series. It's better to have a satisfactory ending than having the show lose its focus and charm. Besides, Scrubs shouldn't just keep going forever - I'm all in for a proper ending.

Well atleast ABC offered to run it. After the writers strike Bill Lawrence requested NBC to give them atleast 4 more episodes to wrap the series properly, NBC didn't budge and didn't even air the final episodes in proper order. The series was always produced by Touchstone Pictures (part of ABC Network, Walt Disney). But back in 2001 ABC passed on the series and NBC picked it up, but they never really treated it well, changing time slot every season. Also since NBC doesn't really get money from the DVD sales (money goes to the producers at Touchstone), so NBC really don't consider it much of it and doesn't market it well on their network. So recently after NBC passed, the ABC executives got in touch with Bill and offered to run the series for Season 8, they have asked him to slightly cut on budget, so we will probably see less big physical gags.

Variety says there was no announcement whether this would be the last season of the show, but it will be Braff's. The actor said he would be open to returning as a guest star, and could possibly also direct.

"The end of the show will be about J.D. leaving the hospital," Lawrence said. "When you leave, it's about holding on to your relationships."

When asked how long "Scrubs" would go on, he said, "You can't kill this show."

Most of the upcoming season has already been shot and will air in midseason.

Not sure if you know yet, however it has been revealed that season 9 of scrubs is going into production soon. And good the good news is it shall have turk, dr.cox and the janitor in it in regular roles. And even better news is JD and elliot will be making apperances at certain points during the season aswell

Why are they pissing over that wonderful ending to the series? They rounded off this fantastic show with a fitting and satisfying ending with everyone saying goodbye to J.D

They shouldn't beat a dead horse, the show's ending was perfect and now they're making the last few episodes of season 8 worthless by renewing the show and as much as I like Scrubs it's probably going to have a new cast and is going to be an annoying spin off that shouldn't be associated with the original series. Instead we'll get the story of the interns as the main characters and I'm not entirely convinced that's solid enough to make a decent show. I'll give it chance, I mean I am judging it before I've even seen it, but I have my doubts and would have much preferred the show to end on a high note as it did.

I know Sarah Chalke is pregnant now in real life, but did they really have to incorporate that in the show? I think it's stupid that they got married so soon and are now having a baby.
