They become different colors as posts are made...(there is a key at the bottom of the first page)....
If a can is GREEN....a new post has been made.....that's about all ya gotta know....when you have read all the new posts, you can go to the bottom of the main page...(or...quicklinks)...and click "mark all forums read".....that turns all the stupid cans back to normal......

That's 'not a problem' Pariah. Stupid vBulletin has it that way and it can't be changed. All you gotta do is double click on the can once you have read the new post.
