Basically if they start censoring the internet... then slowly the internet will just become pointless.
The internet is a great way to get information (both even and biased opinions), and for you to express how you feel.
If the censorship starts, no matter how small, who knows how it will escalate. If they are able to pass this, it'll be a stepping stone to worse. About a year ago I remember reading about when this bill was made and it is RIDICULOUS. It's "purpose" is to "stop piracy" but it is so vague that they can get away with taking pretty much WHATEVER they want off the internet.
