I'm really interested in knowing if anybody else finds these last new episodes as having most in common with the older seasons (1-4). For one thing I think there's more emphasis on Planet Express like in the older seasons. Also, the characters are beginning to regain relationships with each other, especially Fry and Bender. I don't know. It just feels right to me.

Agreed. There was in reference to the fact that it's not like the old Futurama in last summer's episodes when Hermes said: "Didn't we used to be a delivery company?"

I would tend to agree with you, last summer's run was terrible and I was really hoping that this summers would be better and I think the writers have really figured it out. All the plot ideas sound like they should be from the original run. I am very happy with the quality of these first 6 episodes.
