Did you notice editing in Futurama on TV

A interesting convo me and FRJ have been having. While growing up did you notice that early on the tv network never used to edit out the word Bastard. But then around the mid 00s they started editing it out?

I first noticed it after watching ''Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love'' after Zoidberg cuts Fry's arm off and Fry mentions bastard. I noticed that one day it was edited out after only a month previously when i saw it on the tv they mentioned bastard....

They used to in the UK, but then one day they just started editing it out. Not that im bothered because i have them all on dvd

The word Bastards was also censored in the episode 'a tale of two Santas' when it was aired in the UK.

The phrase 'porn star' was edited out on UK TV in the Simpsons.

Almost everything gets censored in UK if its pre watershed.

ive noticed things get censored even if it is past the watershed, uk sucks for censoring stuff
a lot of programmes you can tell its edited too even if youve never seen the episode before as the character would suddenly stop mid sentence :S

The worst censoring I have seen was the Japanese edits of Red Dwarf, they cut out nearly all the jokes! They would be talking about something that wasn't funny, then it would just cut to a scene where the studio audience was laughing....It was crazy!
