Are the Simpsons considered white? or yellow? I just saw the episode with the introduction of Jessica Lovejoy, and she called bart "yellow trash"...but i remember homer agreeing to a stand up comedian when he pretended to be a white person driving, and Homer said "It's true, we're so lame".

So are they white or yellow?

im thnking that was just to be funny because they are drawn yellow because well, they dont look asian.

I'd say that if they were in real life, they'd be white -- but in the show, they are considered yellow.

I've thought about this for awhile now, actually. It always comes up in my mind for whatever reason.

I've thought about this for awhile now, actually. It always comes up in my mind for whatever reason.

Theyre white in their world. Bright yellow is considered white, pale yellow is asian, etc (there are exceptions sometimes though, like for pale skined characters who arent asian appear a pale yellow colour). I know theyre definitely not asian as its been stated many times and renforced aswell. Mg just coloured them as yellow to differentiate the show with others. Just like the overbite its part of the style.

Yeah, like in south park or most other cartoons they dont really mention anything about their style. Like when they made a list about the ugly boys in school..yet when without their hats they all look identicle...lol
